Hello and Welcome to Hypnobirthing with Hannah
I am so excited to share this course with you! As a midwife and childbirth educator I have been working with families for the past 8 years, and have personally taught hypnobirthing to over 750 women and birth partners.
I created this course because I am passionate about families feeling confident and informed during their birth. Birth doesn’t have to be scary! It is the day that your baby is born – it should be a positive experience that you can look back on with happiness. Unfortunately for many women this is not the case – birth trauma is on the rise, and this is something I hope to change with this course.
This course will provide you with techniques that you can use through pregnancy, birth and beyond, but it will also provide you with the information to understand your options so you can make informed decisions. I always say that it is hard to stay calm in labour when you don’t know what to expect, what your body is doing or the ways in which you can support your body to labour more effectively.
This course is not just the hypnobirthing techniques – it combines research, evidence based information and all of my little tricks that I have used as a midwife caring for women in labour.
This course also includes bonus resources including Masterclasses, Nutrition Guide from Kasey Willson Naturopath and Nutritionist @glowingmumma.thrivingbubba and a Prenatal Yoga Class from Amanda Chow Yoga Teacher @nestbirthwellbeing.
This course is perfect for you if...
- You want to have a natural, low-intervention birth but don't really know how you're going to achieve this.
- You are worried about the pain and how you will manage.
- You've been struggling with fear and anxiety about birth, and you don't know how to manage these feelings.
- You want more from your Antenatal Classes than just the standard hospital program, which frankly is often more an an 'orientation to their policies and procedures' than actual preparation for managing labour and birth.
- You want to learn hypnosis relaxation techniques for birth, but also want to have lots of other tools and techniques that you can use.
-
You want your birth partner to feel included, and for them to know how to best support you during your labour and birth.

FAQs
When should I begin the course?
I recommend beginning a course anytime from 18 weeks of pregnancy to allow plenty of time to practice the tools for birth.
I'm 38 weeks into pregnancy - is it too late to do the course?
Absolutely not! It's never too late to start, and the course is all self paced so you can work through the content quicker if needed.
Is it just for women wanting a 'natural birth'?
Nope - This course provides you with tools and information to help you stay calm and informed during your labour + birth. It is all about helping you work towards the type of birth you want. I include information on common interventions like epidurals, inductions and cesarean birth because these things don't mean a positive birth has to go out the window!
How long will I have access to the course?
12 months, however your ebook and audio relaxation mp3s can be downloaded so you have lifetime access to them.
Why hypnosis - isn't that a bit weird?
The hypnosis that we use is all self-hypnosis, so not at all scary! There are no swinging watches here - hypnosis is just a state of mind where we are very relaxed and focussed, which is exactly the state that we want to be in for our birth. The techniques that I teach will help you to easily get into this relaxed state of mind. No prior meditation/hypnotherapy experience is required.
